Iain Coiley

Iain is a welder and metal worker that is brilliant at using bits of wasted metals to create new and vibrant sculptures. From deadly Venus Flytraps (that really could take your eyes out) made out of old bike parts and tea strainers, to fire extinguisher grasshoppers, Iain has an eye for the twisted world of hybrid creatures. So dynamic are his creations that they need to be caged within the Gardens in case they break loose and go on a rampage of destruction.

Iain also works with many other collectives creating bespoke metalwork. Most notable he has worked with Mutoid Waste as part of their Trash City and Unfairground fields at Glastonbury. He has also had work displayed at Mutate Britain and the Guerilla Zoo exhibition, Modern Panic in 2011.
